Mad Minute Mayhem – When You Only Have 5 to Spare

Here I come again, with another quick workout that will leave you breathless. Mad Minute Mayhem incorporates five moves done in rapid succession for 3-5 minutes, depending on your ability level. Here’s how it works:

(You’ll need a stopwatch or clock with a second hand.)

  1. 5 Prisoner Squats
  2. 10 Mountain Climbers
  3. 5 Sumo Squats
  4. 10 Lunges (5/side)
  5. 5 Seal Jax

Start the exercises and the clock. Go all the way through, then rest until the start of the next minute. At the start of the next minute, start at the top of the list and work your way down. You might make it all the way through with plenty of rest to spare in the beginning, but by the 3rd or 4th round you might be pressed for time. Maintain proper form throughout. Make sure your knees don’t extend beyond your toes on the lunges.
