Forearm strength and grip strength: they aren’t just for arm wrestling or opening pickle jars any more! I’ve come up with a Forearm Fire Starter exercise/workout that should help you both in the kitchen and in the gym, and it is amazingly simple and basically free.
The only equipment that you need is a newspaper. Yes. Newspaper. I suggest using the Sunday edition, as it will last you at least a week, or pick up one of those freebies in your grocery store’s vestibule. You know, the ones that advertise stuff for sale, etc? Not the books, just the ones that look like mini newspapers.
Here’s what you do:
Open up one of the pages (preferably a double page), and hold it by one corner in your hand. Using ONLY YOUR FINGERS, pull the page into your palm, making a ball of paper in your hand as you bring in the page. Does that make sense? Here’s a short video that explains what I mean.
In no time, your forearms will be ON FIRE. Incorporate this into one of your arm days at least once a week, and before you know it, you’ll have forearms like Popeye~.
